THE GAMEMACHINE - This is my effort to convert old computers that are doomed to be tossed into the dump sites into gamemachines for low income families. I sell these at only $20 per system. They include the cpu tower, monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Sometimes, I have a laptop gamemachine and it will come with a mouse. All of this depends a lot on what machines I receive as donations. The gaming system I use is based on DOS and has minimal requirements so that nearly any old computer will work. There are some problems with the games starting up or sometimes ending, but the machine can easily recover by restarting it. I would love to learn to work out these problems and have a perfect system. Over all, I actually have more donations than I have sales as it seems the lower income families are not aware that this product is out.
After booting up all the way, the gamemachine comes to a menu which lists all the games on the machine. New games may be added here and undesirable games may be deleted. To protect the children, none of the gamemachines are equipped to access the internet. In addition to entertainment games, there are also educational games loaded onto the gamemachines. There are over 140 DOS-based games loaded onto each gamemachine.
